Entry to all Full Time and Associate
courses at The Royal Ballet School is by audition.
Closing dates for applications vary by course and
audition venue and are published on our website and
in the dance press throughout the year.
UK National Audition Tours
Mid and Senior Associate auditions and preliminary
auditions for full-time courses take place at a number
of venues throughout the United Kingdom during January/February.
Some candidates for full-time auditions will be recalled
to the final audition which will take place in March.
Auditions for Junior Associates
Junior Associate courses are for dancers aged 8-10
years. Auditions take place in May and June at a number
of venues throughout the United Kingdom.
International Applicants
International applicants are able to submit a DVD/video
in place of attending the Preliminary Auditions. Candidates
from Scotland and Northern Ireland may also submit
a DVD/video audition. Click

Private Auditions
Private auditions are only granted at the discretion
of the Director.
Ages of Entry
Applicants for courses for entry in September should
be within the following age ranges as at 31 August. |
