Strictly Come Dancing

On Thursday 24 September, one of The Royal Ballet School's best known former students, Darcey Bussell CBE, visited the Upper School in Covent Garden together with the participants of Strictly Come Dancing. Darcey, who is about to join the panel of judges on the popular TV show, put the celebrities through their paces with a special ballet class in preparation for this weekend’s ‘live’ broadcast. The celebrities watched The Royal Ballet School students in class and rehearsal and chatted to many of the young dancers afterwards about their training and aspirations. The visit will be screened during the broadcast this Saturday night.
