Under Secretary of State for Schools, Diana Johnson, visits White Lodge

On 10 November 2009 the Under Secretary of State for Schools, Diana Johnson, was welcomed at The Royal Ballet Lower School at White Lodge, Richmond Park by Chairman Lady Douro, Director Gailene Stock AM and Assistant Director Jay Jolley. The Minister met several other key members of White Lodge staff and then was shown around the new facilities that were part of the £22m White Lodge Redevelopment Appeal. The visit included the new Darcey Bussell and Gailene Stock Studios. The visit culminated with a visit to two year 7 classes in the Margot Fonteyn Studio and ended with the Minister chatted with some of the students.
