Vadim Muntagirov makes London debut in role of Albrecht

Former Royal Ballet School student, Vadim Muntagirov, now First Artist with English National Ballet, made his London début in the role of Albrecht in Mary Skeaping’s production of Giselle at the London Coliseum on Saturday 23 January 2010. Vadim has already danced principal roles with the Company throughout the UK and made his London début at the London Coliseum on 19 December as the Nutcracker Prince in Christopher Hampson’s The Nutcracker.

Born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, Vadim’s early training took place at the Perm Ballet School and he joined The Royal Ballet School in 2006 thanks to the scholarship he won at the Prix de Lausanne earlier that year. He graduated from the School in summer 2009 and joined English National Ballet at the beginning of the 2009/10 season.
