Students of The Royal Ballet School make the grade on results day

As preparations get underway for the new academic year 2010/11 beginning on Monday 6 September, The Royal Ballet School is again celebrating excellent academic results. Although The Royal Ballet School is not academically selective, students have produced outstanding performances, once again scoring well above the national average. At A level, the A-E pass rate was 100%, with 44 % of results A or B grades. BTec saw a 100% pass rate, with 70% at Distinction. GCSE particularly flourished, with passes between A* - C grades at 94.3%, and results at the top A*/A level rising from 28.9% in 2009 to 41.5% in 2010. Three younger pupils also gave excellent performances at GCCE. Two from Year 10 obtained an A and A* and one from Year 9 who obtained an A*
