The Royal Ballet School to host Working with Young Dancers - a day of activity for Physiotherapists - 11 November 2010

The Royal Ballet School is to host up to 40 physiotherapists for a full day of activity entitled Working with Young Dancers at The Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge on 11 November 2010.This marks the first time that The Royal Ballet School has opened its doors to physiotherapists from a range of disciplines and to share the resources and expertise of The Royal Ballet School.

The Royal Ballet Lower School’s Physiotherapist Janet Briggs will lead the day with a welcome and there will be two presentations by physiotherapists who are familiar with working with young dancers.

In addition, delegates will have the rare opportunity to observe at close quarters the young students in ballet class being taught by the School’s Artistic Staff in the unique system of training that makes The Royal Ballet School one of the finest centres of dance training in the world.

Working with Young Dancers can accommodate a maximum of 40 delegates, with refreshments and lunch included in the price of £50. Advance registration and prior payment is essential by completing the booking form.

Registration with be between 08:00 and 08:15 with the day coming to a close at 16:00.
