Young British Dancer of the Year 2011 – Semi-Final results
From a total of 72 talented young dancers participating in this year’s YBDY, representing 16 different ballet schools the length and breadth of the UK, 32 were selected to go through to the Semi-Final on Sunday, 13 March.
The YBDY Semi-Final Jury of Deanne Bergsma, Federico Bonelli and Marguerite Porter selected 16 young dancers to go through to next week’s Final - already a sold-out event at the Linbury Studio Theatre on Saturday, 19 March.
On making the announcement, Chair of the Semi-Final Jury said: ‘You all gave brilliant performances. The important thing is that you participated. You are all winners, in my view.’
