Results of Young British Dancer of the Year 2011

Royal Ballet Upper School student Anna Rose O’Sullivan was named Young British Dancer of the Year 2011 at the competition’s finals at the Linbury Studio Theatre, the Royal Opera House on Saturday 19 March 2011. Runners up were fellow Royal Ballet Upper School students Teo Dubreuil (2nd prize) and Matthew Ball (3rd prize).

The Sibley Dowell Award for a promising student was awarded to Royal Ballet Lower School student Reece Clarke with commendations going to the Upper School’s Grieg Matthew and Tierney Heap.

Summer School Scholarships were awarded to Laura Croom student of The Dance Studio, London; Georgina Ashworth Kwasnik of Centre Pointe, Manchester; Isabelle Clough of Janet Marshall Dane Studios, Gloucestershire; Aisling Longshaw of Baylins Ballet Barn, Beaconsfield and Ann Wall of Ballet Pod, Wrexham.
